JTC Awards First Adaptive Reuse Industrial Site to CapitaLand
JTC awarded the industrial site at Kallang Way to CL Savour Property Pte Ltd, a CapitaLand Development subsidiary, at a tender price of $368,901,225. Launched on 25 June 2024 and closed on 1 October 2024, the tender attracted four competitive bids.
This marks the first Industrial Government Land Sales (IGLS) site to incorporate adaptive reuse, where an existing terrace factory will be retained and repurposed for continued industrial use. Located within a designated food zone, the site has been strategically master planned to support sustainable rejuvenation of the area.
